Third tier

Lord Knight

Third tier Base level 100 to 150 Swordsman line

Lord Knight is the primary advancement option for Knights. It continues the original path of the knight, tight, rotation based skill patterns, and expands it, adding new skills that can serve as replacements for old skills to enhance the Knight level rotations, or that can slot in happily beside them adding a second full rotation to the menu, filling much of the downtime Knights experienced in their combat with new skills.

On top of the usual split between Sword and Spear skills, Lord Knights gain another branching path to choose in two new Stances. The first, Vanguard Stance, is tuned towards Lord Knights who wish to dive deep into enemy lines and tear them apart personally, enhancing the user's offensive capabilities. Alternatively, they have the option of picking Warden Stance, a defensive stance that increases their resistance to all damage and grants control effects to most of their skills.

Sword skills reinvest heavily into the Bleeding status, though they are less interested in dealing damage through the Bleeding status itself. Instead, they gain a number of skills that have enhanced damage and effects based on the user's bonuses to Bleeding damage, and based on whether the target is Bleeding or not. Their ultimate skill, Execute, does a massive burst of damage based on the strength of the Bleeding Status that the target is suffering from.

Spear skills put Bleeding on the back burner and focus on Vulnerable, capitalizing on its ability to strip enemies of almost all defenses right out of the box by gaining further bonuses based on the user's bonuses to Vulnerable Potency. They culminate in the ultimate skill Gatling Pierce, which does tremendous damage across a large area to enemies suffering from Vulnerable.
