Second tier
Knight
Knight is the primary advancement option for the Swordsman class. Like Swordsmen before them, Knights rely on naturally high HP, high defensive stats from their available equipment, and increased potion efficiency to sustain themselves in encounters.
In terms of combat style, they are one of the simplest jobs to play. Whether built to use swords or spears, their skills take advantage of Bleeding and Vulnerable statuses on enemies to amplify their damage, with only a couple skills that work to bolster their defenses.
The Knight skill tree is divided into two quite disparate paths: one geared toward the use of Swords and Two-Handed Swords, the other toward Spears and Two-Handed Spears. Though offensively speaking both one- and two- handed variants of their weapons are permitted, Knights will find themselves gravitating more toward the higher damage option of two-handed weapons, as their few defensive options require a two-handed weapon to be utilized. That said, new Knights will have to be careful , swapping to a new weapon type means losing the advantages of their first job masteries, thus making early levels a bit more challenging if they make the switch too soon.
